Kids' Book Club! In-Person
Do you love to read? Need more books for our Summer Reading Program? Then you’ll love chatting with other book lovers at our new Kids’ Book Club! We’ll read and chat about The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. Copies of the book will be available at the Northwest Branch’s Children’s Desk. Registration is required. Note that the recommended age range for this book club is 8-12, but should you be younger and confident in your reading skills, you are welcome to join as well! At our meetings we will have snacks, drinks, and a craft prepared in relation to the book. At the first meeting we will discuss the pace in which we mutually would like to read this book from a week by week basis. If this book doesn’t interest you, but the Book Club does… No worries! At our final meeting discussing The One and Only Ivan we will vote on the book we would like to read next.
