The Empowered Caregiver: Communicating and Responding to Behaviors from the Alzheimer's Assoc. In-Person
Caring for a loved one with memory issues? Then join us as an Alzeimer's Assoc. representative presents Communicating Effectively and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors.
You will learn how dementia affects communication, including tips for communicating well with family, friends and health care professionals. You will also hear about common behavior changes and how they are a form of communication, as well as non-medical approaches to behaviors and recognizing when additional help is needed.
Attending all The Emplowered Caregiver programs (held on April 10 and 22 and May 8) is NOT required to attend this program.
For adults ages 18 and older. Registration required.
