The Empowered Caregiver: Caregiving Foundations & Supporting Independence from the Alzheimer's Assoc. In-Person
Caring for a loved one with memory issues? Then join us as an Alzeimer's Assoc. representative presents Building Foundations of Caregiving and Supporting Independence.
The role of caregiver will be explored, along with changes they may experience, building a support team and managing caregiver stress. The 2nd part of the program will focus on helping a person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right amount of support and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.
Attending all The Emplowered Caregiver programs (held on April 10 and 22 and May 8) is NOT required to attend this program.
For adults ages 18 and older. Registration required.
