Black History Month: Sojourner Truth and Me In-Person
This program brings history to life! Mimicking the popular talk show format familiar to modern audiences, host “Rebecca-Now-and-Then” kicks off the show, sets the stage, and introduces our time-traveling guest, who answers questions in character. Then, Sojourner will give her famous speech from 1851, “Ain’t I A Woman." Following the speech, the host will then ask Sojourner a few more questions and invite the audience to ask some of their own.
Registration required. Ages 9+.
